how do you solve this can someone please explain -5*(1-5x)+5*(-8x-2)=-4x-8r

-5(1 - 5x) + 5(-8x - 2) = -4x - 8    
-5 + 25x - 40x - 10 = -4x - 8
25x - 40x + 4x = -8 + 10 + 5 = 7
-11x = 7
x = -7/11
