The major impacts of the European voyages to the Americas were the establishment of trading settlements or colonies, the reaping of new raw materials, the establishment of new trade routes, resettlement of Europeans to the Americas, and continued exploration for sea routes to India and Asia. Any of these reasons could be boiled down to the "two" most important results, however there were many subsequent results.
