- - Solve:

[tex]2*r*p[/tex]

R=Radius
P=Pi (Approximate (≈) 3.14, or [tex] \frac{22}{7} [/tex])

Okay so it tells us our radius: 2.8cm and we know out pi: 3.14 so now we plug in:
[tex]2*2.8*3.14[/tex]
=
17.593

Final answer:
17.593 (If needed, you can round this to 17.6)

The equation for circumference is c= (2)pi(r)
If you fill it out, it becomes c = (2)pi(2.8)
Multiply to solve.
Circumference: 17.59cm rounded to nearest hundredth.

*Never use 3.14 as pie, always solve on calculator. 3.14 itself is not pi!!
