Americans has deep roots in their Anglo-Saxon heritage. From their westward expansion to the Spanish
American War, they always believe that it was their destiny to move forward and
to spread their heritage in the process.
This belief was again evident when they acquired new territories such as
the Guam, the Philippines and Puerto Rico after the Spanish-American War.
