The complex ion is [Mn(Cl)₆]⁴⁻. This is an octahedral complex and oxidation state of metal atom Mn is +2.

The outer electron configuration of Mn atom is d⁵s²
The outer electron configuration of Mn²⁺ ion is d⁵

Cl⁻ is a weak field ligand. so the number of unpaired electrons in this complex is 5.
