One of the “pros” of vertical organizations is clear roles and responsibilities. Although there are drawbacks of both organization structures describing vertical and horizontal organizations, a benefit of vertical is that there are clearly defined roles and responsibilities. In a horizontal organizational structure there are many cross functional roles between the different levels and subgroups.
