1) The formula for finding the area of a trapezoid is (base 1+base 2)*height/2
2) Plug in the information we already have:
(6+6.8)*h/2=32
3) Simplify:
12.8h/2=32
4) Multiply both sides by 2:
12.8h=64
5) Divide both sides by 12.8:
h=5
6) HEIGHT IS 5 IN.
