If y is proportional to x and y=4 when x=6 what is the constant of proportionality between them (ratio of x to y) please show your work

6/4 = x/y
the ratio is 3/2 because you are dividing the numerator and denominator by 2 because that is only that 6 and 4 can go into and you get 3:2
