What does a sharp sign indicate when used in representing a pitch? to cancel the previous sign to lower the pitch half a step to raise the pitch half a step to raise the pitch one full step
I don’t mean to dis anyone else’s previous answer, but a sharp does not raise the pitch a whole step. It raises the pitch by one half step. Hope this helps! :)
