[tex]\frac{4}{x}=\frac{1}{x^2+4x}+\frac{5}{x}, x \neq 0, x \neq -4. \newline \frac{4}{x}-\frac{1}{x^2+4x}-\frac{5}{x}=0. \newline \frac{4}[x}-\frac{1}{x(x+4)}-\frac{5}{x}=0. \newline \frac{4(x+4)-1-5(x+4)}{x(x+4)}=0. \newline \frac{-x-5}{x(x+4)}=0. \newline -x-5=0. \newline -x = 5. \newline x = -5.[/tex]
