Are you really having trouble counting the blocks ? It shouldn't be
a problem, because you can see all of them in the picture. There are
no blocks hiding behind other ones.
There are 5 blocks in the bottom row, sitting on the table, and
4 more stacked on top of them . . . total of 9 blocks.
