It's just that. Political conservatism is regarding politics whilst energy conservation is regarding energy. Besides, the two are completely different. Energy conservation is strictly about preserving our resources and benefiting the environment whilst political conservatism is literally just politics, specifically the Republican Party and any person who endorses conservative values.
