The unification of Germany disrupt the balanced of the major powers of the world during the 19th century because it emerges as a world power immediately. Also the unification in the process humiliated France which is another world power defeating France in the Franco-Prussian War. Also it changed the political landscape and world alliances due to new power that emerge.
