This is the last phase of Freud's psychosexual hypothesis of identity advancement and starts in puberty. It is a period of sexual experimentation, the fruitful determination of which is settling down in a cherishing balanced association with someone else in our 20's. Sexual intuition is coordinated to heterosexual joy, instead of self-delight like amid the phallic stage.
