We know that n +2 + n +8 must equal 24
first lets add what we know
8 + 2= 10.
Subtract that from 24
24-10= 14
that means all we have left is n + n, which must equal 14
we know that n + n would be the same as 2 times n
14/2= 7
each n equals 7
So, N equals 7
