Your answer would be 10.5. To figure out how to round 10 1/2 to the nearest tenth of an inch, first realize that 1/2 = 0.5 and that's already rounded to the nearest tenth. and 10 is a whole number so we wouldn't change that. 10 + 0.5 = 10.5.
