It is the plasma cells that act against a particular foreign substance are released. These are the white blood cells that secrete large volumes of antibodies. Plasma cells are transported by the blood plasma and the lymphatic system. Cells are originated in the bone marrow. These are large lymphocytes with a considerable nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio and a characteristic appearance on light microscopy.
