You lay 5 ⅜ feet, 7 ½ feet and 8 ⅖ In decimals, how many feet of pipe did you lay total

Add total number of feet together.

=5 3/8+ 7 1/2+ 8 2/5
=5.375 + 7.5 + 8.4
=21.275 total feet of pipe (rounded to the tenths would be 21.3 feet)
