For the denominator of 12, Your fractions will now look like:

8/12 ( Simplify if needed) as well as

9/12 (Simplify if needed)


You want to find the multiple that will give you 12 upon the bottom of the fraction and divide your numerator by that number as well. For the first one, it’s 3, and for the second one, it’s 6
