try a narrative or creative-but dont write too creative. Use some methodical thinking mixed with a sappy life story.

I'd say the answer is D) persuasive. Because you are trying to persuade that particular college to accept you, so you need to be persuasive about it. You need to assure them that you are the best option for that college.
