The most distinctive difference between Roman Catholicism and the Eastern Orthodoxy is that the Roman Catholics recognize the supremacy of the pope and the Eastern Orthodoxy doesn't. The Eastern Orthodoxy has more than one leader, the Patriarchs of several Eastern European countries are all leaders of 'their' church.
