Labor unions seem to criticize this process more than businesses because labor unions tend to dislike the certification process due to how long the process takes and too much employer involvement is required. There is an unequal amount of employee access that the union organizer have in which they are limited to how they access employees where the employer has more power to hold meetings to sway employees not to join the union.
