Yasser Arafat was the name accepted by Mohammed al Husseini. Conceived in Cairo, he was an establishing individual from Fatah and the PLO. He consolidated the PLO and Fatah in 1964 and ran a psychological militant battle against Israel. In the wake of marking the Oslo Accords with Israel, he progressed toward becoming leader of the Palestinian National Authority from 1993 until his passing in 2004.
