Supposing we arbitrarily group the problem as follows:  6 div by (3/4).

6 div. by (3/4) comes out greater than 6:     

6               3                           6       4
--- div by ----  is rewritten as ---- * ----  = 24 / 3  =  8
1               4                            1      3
