What is the solution to the following system of equations? 3x-2y=12 and 6x-4y=24

Multiplying the first equation by -2 results in -6x + 4y = -24.
Adding this result to the second equation:

6x-4y=24
-6x + 4y = -24
------------------
           0  = 0

There are an infinite number of solutions, since the 2 given equations represent collinear lines.
