Epinephrine is usually administered to reduce the attack, along with Intravenous (IV) antihistamines and cortisone to reduce inflammation of the breathing passages. Oxygen is also given to help with oxygen levels and helping the breathing process. Albuterol is also administered at times to relieve breathing symptoms.
