15 because if you multiply .6 times 25 it is 15. You get .6 because a percentage is of a 100 and 60/100 is 0.6

Well, 60% is the same thing as 60/100, which when you simplify becomes 3/5. So to find 60% of 25, just multiply 25 by 3/5.

25/1 * 3/5 = 75/5 = 15.
Therefore there are 15 baseball caps.
