Add 5+3 =8
80 divide by 8=10
So for every 5 in the ratio is 10 so 10*5=50
And for every 3 its 3*8=24
So the answer is
50:24

Answer: 8 ( you have to times 8x5 to get 40)

When doing ratio, whatever you do on one side, you have to do to the other therefore you have to times 8 by 3.
