what is 3/4 - 5/10 please showing work

ok so u find the LCD or least common denominator which is 20. 3/4 times 5 on numerator and on denominator is 15/20 and 5/10 is times 2 on numerator and denominator and 5/10 is 10/20. so 15/20-10/20=5/20 and simplified is 1/4
