Given -1 as based number, we need to look for another number to be able to produce a positive answer.
First, remember always the rule in multiplying any negative number to another negative number will produce a positive answer.
Let’s have an example:
 => -1 x - 2
=> + 2

though we have 2 negative numbers multiply, the answer is positive.
Mathematics rule:
Positive x Positive = Positive
Positive x Negative = Negative
negative x negative = Positive.
