The Westrnmost point of the African continent is at either Dakar, in Senegal or Western Sahara at 2 degrees west longitude, that is 2 degrees from the 0 degrees set at Greenwich England by international standards. This can be determined by looking at the map and seeing where Africa juts out toward the Atlantic.
