6 of the counters are red.

Two counters are taken random from the bag.
Work out the probability that one counter of each colour are taken. ​

Answer:

P(one of each color)

= (6/10)(4/9) + (4/10)(6/9)

= 2(24/90) = 2(4/15) = 8/15
