Hello there!

The Distributive Property allows us to multiply the number outside of the parenthesis by all inside numbers.

An example;

2(3 + 4)
2(3) + 2(4)
6 + 8
14.

Let's apply this to our current expression.

9(V + 5)
9(v) + 9(5)
9v + 45 is your expression.

I hope this helps!
