Well, you would either round 33 to 30 or 35, because it's close there, and 89 would obviously be 90 because it's only 1 unit far away. So let's just say 33 is 30 since we are rounding 89 up. We should round 33 down since then, numbers would be kind of even on estimating. 90 + 30 would be 120. The actually answer, 33+89, is 122, and 120 rounds to 122, so that's how you would round the number 33 and 89 to estimate their sum.
