If 3 is added to a number and the sum is tripled​, the result is 15 more than the number. find the number.

So first you would want to add 3 to 15 that would be 18.
Then you divide 18 by 3. You should get 6.
Then subtract 6 by three and you get three.

Your answer is 3.
