To find out how long the movie was just
movie started at 11:30am
12:30pm would be 1 hour
1:30 pm would be 2 hours
2:00 pm would be 2 1/2 hours or 2 hours and 30 minutes
2:12 pm just add 12 minutes to 30 minutes, 12 + 30 = 42 minutes
So the movie lasted 2 hours and 42 minutes.
