I always flip them so that I can make sure I don't forget anything. FYI, this is one of the trick they used to force you make the mistake so make sure you always flip the equation (omg I talked too much)

0.75 = logx
Flip it
logx = 0.75
We need to solve for the logarithm
log(x)= 0.75
Take exponent of both sides
10^logx =10^0.75
x = 10^0.75
x= 5.623413
