I'd multiply out whats in parenthesis first and get
3y - 6 + 6x + 6 - 2 = 0
then combine like terms
3y -2 + 6x = 0
move the -2 over by addition
3y + 6x = 2
now move the 6x over by subtraction
3y = -6x + 2
divide each term by 3
y = -2x + 2/3

so the slope is -2 and the y intercept is 2/3
