The network network type which establishes a dedicated physical connection between two hosts in order to transmit time sensitive data is Circuit Switched. Data such as audio and video can be transmitted and during the period of transmission no other host can use the medium until the communication is over. A good example of circuit switched is the telephone system, which connects together wire segments to create a single unbroken line for each telephone call.
