the reason why here is still a scarcity of water across the globe even though Three fourth of earth surface is covered with water is because most of that water is saline and not consumable
The majority of the 3/4 of all water that covers the earth came from the ocean. Humans cannot directly consume the water from the ocean because of the high concentration of salt and other substances that will bring compromise the thickness in our blood and make us sick.
