Miles and Jesse are very different. Miles found love and family. Jesse found Winnie. They both have very different perspectives about life and death. Jesse is more of an optimist.

Mae is much more open and free than Winnie's mother. Winnie's mother is sheltered and proper. She doesn't embrace and live life. However, Mae takes every risk to cherish and protect her eternal life, love and family
