Maleficent wanted revenge on the king (A.K.A her ex) because he tricked her. The queen from Snow White wanted to be known as the most beautful person in the kingdom. How ever, she needed to kill snow white since she was a beautiful as the first quenn who died before (AKA her mother). They are the smae since the targeted childern. Although Maleficent went after a baby, they both wanted to be known.
