3 1/3 - 1 2/3 = ? Help me plzz i beg you i lost my notes :(

You turn them into improper fractions by multiplying the bottom number to the whole number then adding the product to the top of the fraction, therefore 
3 1/3 = 10/3, and 1 2/3 = 5/3

10 _ 5  =  5/3
