first you would subtract 21 from 35 to determine how many fractions of 1 you would have left so you would start with 1 and 14/21, then you would find the largest number that goes into both 14 and 21 which is 7 and divide by that so the total simplified answer would be 1 and 2/3! hope this helped!!!
