1 ton = 2000 pounds.  2000 x 3 = 6000.  6000 + 675 = 6675.  So there are 6675 pounds.

6,675 pounds. A ton is equal to 2,000 pounds so 2,000 times 3 is 6,000 and then you have to add the 675 pounds.
