Reagan was the president responsible for making economic policies that aimed to reduce the growth of government spending, reduce the federal income tax and capital gains tax, reduce government regulation, and tighten the money supply to reduce inflation. This was all the steps he took after the World War II to ensure that America would be able to get back again on its economic pride.
