How does the tympanic membrane work? please help need answer quick. Thank you.

In short it's a membrane that receives vibrations from the air. That air is then transitioned into the auditory ossicles. Those are bones that I assume carry air. They are located in the middle ear cavity, which is know as scientifically; tympanic. c:
