Find the slope of the line passing through points P(8, -1), Q(0, -7).

The slope formula is y2-y1/x2-x1 ->

-7-(-1)/0-8 = -6/-8 = -3/4

Slope= change in y / change in x

so, -7- -1/ 0-8
which equals to -6/-8
making it .75

Slope of the line is 0.75 or 3/4
