How would a different point of view change the story "Was It a Dream

If this story wasn't in first person I don't see the readers getting much of a feel on the authors/main characters feelings. It would still be detailed I'm sure but bland at the same time. Also it just wouldn't make sense to use second person in that type of story. 

In conclusion: 
If you were to change the pov it would be harder to understand the feelings
