No, you may have heard of a condition where your nerves are unable to feel anything. your nerves are useless in this state, your brain needs nerves to function and work properly. If your nerves are gone there is no way to tell if you are in pain, or if you are hungry, etc.  Long story short you absolutely need nerves to live.
